Difficult Story
Workshop with Loren Niemi
In response to
the question, "when will you offer the next Difficult Story
Workshop?" Elizabeth Ellis and Loren Niemi are happy to offer a
three-session online version of their critically acclaimed (some would say,
"life changing") approach to crafting truthful and artful stories
that are often difficult to hear and harder to tell.
Three 90-minute
sessions at 8 pm EDT: Thursday, July 8th; Monday, July 12th;
Thursday, July 15th. This workshop will be limited to 10 participants and
priced at $200 for the workshop - no individual session tickets are
available. Each session will be on Zoom and the links for each session will
be sent to you after registration.

"Personal Stories"
|
A
memorable personal story is the result of a million times a million tiny
choices. This workshop will focus on:
Context

Conflict
: How do I keep the audience involved in the tale?
Characterization
: Why should they care about what happens in the story?
And
other narrative skills for crafting stories that really POP!
No
previous experience with personal story is necessary.
